What are CD-Rs still good for?
A blank CD-R is still handy for a car stereo that plays CDs, for handing a file to an administration or for archiving files that must not change.
The Arita pack holds 50 CD-Rs of 700 MB, or 80 minutes of music per disc. A CD-R burns only once: the data cannot be wiped by mistake.
You need a CD or DVD burner, built into the computer or external over USB. For music, burn an audio CD, which every player reads. Then store the discs upright, out of the sun, and write on the printed side with a soft felt pen.
