TN screens offer the fastest response times, ideal for gaming but with less precise viewing angles and colors. IPS screens have excellent viewing angles and faithful color reproduction, perfect for graphic design and multimedia. VA screens are in between, offering good contrast and deep blacks.

Full HD resolution (1920x1080) remains the most popular and offers a good balance between image quality and performance for most uses. For a more immersive and detailed experience, QHD (2560x1440) or 4K UHD (3840x2160) resolution is recommended, provided you have a powerful enough graphics card.

For standard office and multimedia use, a screen between 24 and 27 inches is ideal. For immersive gaming or working on multiple applications, larger sizes (27 inches and above) with higher resolutions are more comfortable. Also consider the distance at which you will use the screen.

Refresh rate, measured in Hertz (Hz), indicates how many times the image is updated per second. A high rate (144Hz, 240Hz) allows for increased image fluidity, essential for gaming, fast scrolling, and on-screen movements, reducing the perception of blur.

The most common connectors are HDMI and DisplayPort. DisplayPort is often preferred for high resolutions and high refresh rates, especially for gaming. Check the port version (HDMI 2.0/2.1, DisplayPort 1.2/1.4) based on your hardware and the features you're looking for (HDR, VRR).
