Button cells go by several names depending on the maker. The safest way is to read the reference stamped on the old cell and find it in the list below.
- AG4, LR626 or 377A: a small cell common in watches and small toys.
- AG10, LR1130 or 389A: calculators, light-up toys and small remotes.
- AG3 or LR41: thermometers, small toys and keyring torches.
All are 1.5 V alkalines sold in packs of 10, two of them by Soda. One pack covers several devices around the house, keep the rest in the packaging.
